The University of Alabama’s Bama Technology Incubator (BTI) is designed to foster the entrepreneurial and research growth of start-up companies and to contribute to the economic development of the State of Alabama by facilitating the development of marketable products and processes from new research discoveries and the commercialization of those products and processes through successful business ventures. BTI resides in the Alabama Innovation and Mentoring of Entrepreneurs. AIME supports members of the incubator with business training and prototype development. AIME is an ICORP Site and is actively engaged with Georgia Tech which is the local ICORPS Node. Thus we send teams to the national cohort for additional training and networking.
